THE DESIGN BRIEF
To support over 500 teachers, schools and the system they learn and work in to engage students as partners in their learning. This brief has evolved over 6 years from program support, partnership and event facilitation to program design, lead facilitation and key school coaching support. The NTLC now represents over 1/3 of learners across the NT, including NTLC jr (yrs 2-4) and NTLC- Distance Ed for remote and air schools.
HOW WE MET THE BRIEF
We spend time in Darwin and Katherine alongside schools investigating school improvement data, working with the Director of School and System Improvement as well as national evaluation partners on this program; the Northern Territory Learning Commission (NTLC). Our work includes facilitating all student and teacher commissioner workshops (3 per year), coaching (on site or virtually) school teams and assisting in the reporting to Department heads, Chief Executive and Minster of Education on cohort progress.
Going forward, we will deliver both face-to-face and virtually from our learning of previous years and deepen the relationship by coordinating the partners on the program as part of the redesign we are leading, including program development, learner experience and strengthening the impact in communication
